Digital Mentoring for Aurous

Aurous is an Australian non-profit committed to using the power of connection to reduce isolation and loneliness in Australia's most vulnerable. As a digital mentor, you'll have the opportunity to support Australian seniors in learning digital skills to help them stay connected, and develop your mentoring skills along the way! And good news - it's a virtual position requiring approx. one hour per week, so you can volunteer alongside your studies!

ASIC Graduate Program

 20/09  The Australian Securities and Investments Commission are now looking for technology graduates for their 2022 graduate program, beginning in February! In the midst of extended lockdowns and heightened restrictions, evaluating the impacts of our tech-savvy COVID-19 response on Australia's minority groups has become even more critical. While innovative tech solutions to the global pandemic have in many ways increased accessibility for minority groups, this article explores the ways in which culturally and linguistically diverse Australians are being left behind. Read on to learn more about the ways in which we might need to re-think our COVID-19 response measures to be more inclusive and accesible for everyone!
