MAC x Hack: Code Jam

  13/10   Having trouble getting started on that side project you've been thinking about? Need some help staying accountable? Join MAC at their Code Jam event where you can work on your side projects with some company and get inspired by others.  

CCA x 180DC: Navigating the Future of Work

  14/10   If you're keen on learning more about the current landscape of the graduate scene, this event is for you! There will be current HR representatives and consultants to answer your questions about finding internships and graduate positions.

Monash Tech Talks: Tackling Cybercrime - Trends and Challenges

  14/10   In a collaborative event between the Law and IT faculty, this tech talk will be comprised of experienced panellists discussing the future of cybercrime. Join for an interesting discussion on topics, such as phishing. hacking, and identity theft.

Girls in Tech Australia: Hacking for Humanity

 16/10  Girls in Tech Australia is hosting a healthcare-focused hackathon, beginning on the 16th of October. After that, teams will be brainstorming and protoyping for two days from the 24th to 25th of October. Register by hitting the button above, whether or not you have a team!

Accenture: 2021 Operations Graduate Program

  14/10   Applications for Accenture's Operations Graduate Program are closing soon! You'll be working on improving business services using the power of technology. They are looking for both technical and non-technical students, so don't forget to apply!

Australian Defence Force (ADF): 2021 Cyber Gap Program

  30/10   This is 12-month program for Australian citizens who are already enrolled in cyber-related studies. As part of the program, you will receiving financial support, networking opportunities, mentoring sessions, and a two-week cyber experience placement.

EY: Indigenous Intern Program

  31/10   If you identify as Indigenous or Torres Strait Islander or both, apply to EY's Indigenous Intern Program to gain up to twelve weeks of paid work experience throughout your degree. You can be anywhere from your first year through to your final year of study. 

In 1995, Anita Borg, a pioneering computer scientist, challenged the tech community to achieve equal representation of women in tech by 2020. It's safe to say we haven't reach that goal just yet, but check out this article for ways we can get ourselves back on track.
