Session Information

In the last 25 years, through the various Canada-U.S Fulbright programs, Fulbright Canada has granted awards to 100 scholars and students that have come from the United States to the University of Alberta, as well as, from our university to prestigious US universities. The University of Alberta has had particular success with the Visiting Research Chair Program. Our University currently supports eight Fulbright Visiting Research Chairs--the most out any Canadian university.

University of Alberta International invites you to the Fulbright Program Information session, where we will hear about the different Fulbright Canada programs from Dr. Michael Hawes, CEO of Fulbright Canada and from Dr. Susi Long, our Fulbright Visiting Research Chair in Education, from the University of South Carolina. Dr. Long will give a short presentation on her research topic: Decolonizing Practices in Teacher Education: A Study of Equity Pedagogies in Canada and the U.S.
