Presented by Monanock Music August 5th
Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, one of the world’s most popular and ubiquitous choral works. Based on a collection of thirteenth-century poems, Carmina Burana sets universal human themes — the fickleness of fate, the cycle of seasons, love and life — to soaring music for grand chorus. The “O Fortuna” movement is instantly recognizable from dramatic soundtracks and sporting events. This concert will feature the Grand Monadnock Youth Choirs. There will be a free reception to follow at European Esthetics
You are invited once again to the meadow at the corner of Mountain and Driscol in Greenfield NH to enjoy the music, relax, dance, and celebrate with us at the Ninth Annual Folksoul Music Festival.
