Post News by Perry Taylor, Commander

Department of Washington Convention is complete and we had an outstanding year. We achieved 1 out of 11 All-State Posts of 106 posts in the state! This is a direct result of all our hard work in meeting our goals and it couldn't be done without the Auxiliary assisting in all aspects of our programs and daily operations. Thank you for joining us at the Oak Harbor 4th of July parade to celebrating America's independence! National Convention is in Kansas City this year, if interested in attending, please contact me asap. As of now, our posts looks real good going into the new year. I'm looking forward to working with the incoming officers and members to have a stellar year. Thanks to everyone for your hard work and dedication for this post and organization!

Auxiliary News by Teresa Coe, President

At Department of Washington Convention, I was honored as District and Post President of the Year. Press release forthcoming after National Convention. We received several awards and they are on display near our auxiliary office. Our year is starting off with a BANG as we celebrated America's Independence. Feel like a whirlwind of life has happened the last few weeks. Sorry, I missed our last meeting and the parade. Husband's grandpa passed away and we were attending the funeral in Iowa. Diana will have Buddy Poppies at Beachcombers this weekend, go see her!
