FDA has cleared Ultherapy to lift and tighten the skin on the neck, chin and brow and to improve lines and wrinkles on the décolletage of the chest. However there have been other uses such as reducing the crepiness of arms, abdomen, thighs and knees.

What can you expect after ultherapy treatment?

With the medication that Dr. Shelton gives his patients to make the procedure more comfortable , patients typically have the treatment in the afternoon and then return to work the next morning. There might be a little tenderness to the deeper tissues which is a sign that the procedure is working. There can be some minimal swelling and very rarely if ever any bruising. Typically Ultherapy is considered not to have any downtime . It is also safe to use on all skin types.
