Vote and Submit Your Annual Report!

ACM SIGGRAPH Elections:

Are you aware ACM SIGGRAPH is having elections?  This year it is especially important for all ACM SIGGRAPH members to vote, as the Executive Committee  is requesting a considerable revision and reorganization of the ACM SIGGRAPH Bylaws. These changes can only be approved by the organization members… so read them through and cast your vote!  Find out more about these changes here:

https://www.acm.org/elections/acm-siggraph-bylaw-amendment

Additionally, we will be electing the organization Treasurer and two Members-at-Large.  Have you looked at the candidate slate?  You might recognize some familiar faces!  You can read more about them here:

https://www.acm.org/elections/sigs/siggraph-election-bios

Please consider voting for candidates who will support chapters, and do let your Chapter members know about this important election and encourage them to get informed and vote!

August 5th, 2018 is the deadline.

Annual Report:

It is time to submit your Chapter's annual report. ACM's bylaws require chapters to meet minimum levels of viability and to report on all financial activity during the year. So don't forget! Deadline is August 31, 2018.

Attendees of the 2018 Chapters Workshop participating in team building exercises
We had a very successful workshop where attendees networked with fellow chapters and learned valuable information to take back to their chapters. We hope that this workshop has provided leaders with more opportunities to reach out for help and advice on running their events. Go forth and have a fantastic time at SIGGRAPH 2018!
