It's been quite the year of evolution for RAID, full of rewards and struggles, both collectively and individually. This isn't anything new, everyone has a list of checks and balances but we feel it has been a testament to our collective that we've continued moving ever forward. The new studio is beginning to feel more like home as renovations wrap and more desks are filled on a daily basis. One big strike on our personal check-list was being unable to get RAID TWO, the second edition of our anthology, out for out original target date. But the book is just heading off to the printers for proofing and we're truly proud of the book to come. We couldn't be more elated to start off 2019 with the release of RAID TWO. We'll keep you posted here on details, and exciting incentives to come!

Thank you to all our fans and supporters that help keep us excited and inspired in what we do here at RAID. A very merry holiday to you and yours!

We'll see you in 2019, where we're planning a little contest to start off the year right!

PS/ here's a sneak peak at our opening spread for RAID TWO!

A few months ago RAID teamed up with SHOWCASE during FAN EXPO CANADA for a live-art session promoting season 2 of Marvel's RUNAWAYS! Well, those five original 3 x 4 foot canvases done up by Irma Kniivila, Marcus To, Eric Vedder, Ramon Perez, and Nimit Malavia, can now potentially be yours! TODAY Showcase is running a contest on Twitter giving away these great pieces - cast your vote and enter to win!

LAST WEEK we saw MARVEL TWO-IN-ONE issue 12 hit the stands, marking the conclusion to the storyline by Chip Zdarsky and Ramón Pérez which reunites the most famous family in comics; The FANTASTIC FOUR! we caught up with Ramón (it wasn't that hard really - we cornered him at his desk at the studio) and asked him some questions about his part in this emotional reunion.

RAID: How was it being a part of bringing the FF family back together again?

Ramón: It was a thing.

RAID: Was there any pressure drawing these characters, they being absent for long from the Marvel Universe?

Ramón: Not a thing.

RAID: Was there any character you enjoyed drawing the most?

Ramón: Ben Grimm, clearly.

Thank you Ramón! And as a bonus everyone, please enjoy the first few pages of the last issue below!
