Our FOREST FOLK: BANDS & SHENANIGANS Kickstarter campaign launched on Monday, April 11th, and we reached our funding goal in under 24 HOURS! A day later, all of our EARLYBIRD TIERS sold out, and we've already met the French flaps Kickstarter stretch goal of 20K!

CREATOR SPOTLIGHT / It's Dax Gordine month here at RAID - as we're in the middle of the Kickstarter Campaign for the second volume of FOREST FOLK!
For those unfamiliar with Dax's work - he is an animator, concept artist, and illustrator. His most recent project for Marvel Comics is as the artist of Marvel Comics Giant-Sized Little Marvels.
His work has also delighted fans on such feature films as Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Osmosis Jones, Eight Crazy Nights, and Curious George. He's also created concept art for the video game Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 & 3, and illustrated the Bravo Man webcomic.
WE ASKED DAX WHAT INSPIRED HIM TO MAKE HIS OWN COMIC STRIP...
"I desired to create something of my own outside of the day-to-day grind. Something bite-sized enough to maintain for a substantial amount of time, to feel like I've actually accomplished that goal. Six years later, here we are."

The newsletter is sent out at noon EDT which will ensure everyone in North America is up, and those on the other side of the world will, for the most part, be up too.
