What’s life feel like to you right now?  Are you stressed, worn out, and exhausted?  While there is much happening in the world that causes us great concern, often we are stressing ourselves out.  

It may be in how many activities we overschedule for our day.  It could be in what we give our attention to in a moment that causes us great stress.  Maybe we put others above ourselves to the point of forgetting who we are.

If we don’t find balance in our day and life, we’re like the tail wagging the dog.  We’re out of control, and before long, we start feeling burned out.  We feel lost and hopeless when we reach the end of the rope.

It is a hectic season of the year where it seems like there is one party after another or event to go to for Christmas.  It is far too easy to forget that sometimes stopping to pause and rest is a very good thing to do.

We need to realize that not everything out there we can fill our day doing is good for us.  We need to make choices of what matters and what is important.  If we do this, we’ll find that where we focus our time and energy becomes a much richer experience.

Take some time out to pause and rest and enjoy your life.  Stressing ourselves out is not healthy for the mind, body, or spirit.
