Our flower communion service is an important ritual for Starr King and has offered us yet another challenge. Just how should we do this ritual? Well, both virtually and not. We will hold our regular service at 9:30 on Zoom. After that, we invite you to participate in a drive-thru flower communion. Rev. Linda, Sarah Dan and Ruby will be outside in our front parking lot hoping you drive by to pick up your flower between 10:30 and 11:30. We promised to be masked and gloved for everyone’s safety and comfort. Mostly we just want to see your beautiful faces and bless you with a flower as we close out our regular worship year.

If you’d like and are able to participate even more fully, please drop off flowers to be shared in the buckets that will be outside our building (in front) on Saturday night.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!

Order of Service can be downloaded from our website's home page each Sunday

So what about Summer Services? Are they happening?
YES!! They will happen over Zoom from 9:30 to 10:30 beginning the second Sunday in July.
The folks who are attending the virtual UU General Assembly will be reflecting on that experience on July 12th.
Cindy Spring has agreed to lead the rest of the services using topics from the Small Group Ministry Program. Cindy led our first summer service 25 years ago and they have continued ever since with a variety of speakers and topics. The format is informal. Each week Cindy will give a short reflection on the morning’s topic, then open the “floor” for discussion.
This is a great way to stay connected over the summer and to get to know each other a bit better. Hope to see you there!

Don't forget you can donate anytime on-line!
