Adoption News
Featured Dog:
Princess
Meet Princess! She’s the happy, 1 year old Pittie with a big smile. Princess is a very friendly girl who loves to cuddle. She likes her time in the yard at LHS, either playing ball or getting the “ zoomies”.  Princess knows some basic commands but does need work walking on a leash. She seems to like dogs her size but is not good with small dogs or other small animals. No renters please due to restrictions of landlords. If you would like to give Princess the home she deserves, please fill out our online application or stop in during open hours Wednesdays 6-8pm or Saturdays 12-3pm.
Featured Cat:
Mittens
Mittens is a black and white female cat with short hair and unique facial markings. She is a 10-year-old cat who is very lovable and friendly but can be feisty at times. She loves to talk and play. Her DOB is 5/18/12. Dog friendly and grew up around kids.

Costume Dog Walk
A variety of pooches came out to strut their stuff at the 18th Annual Pat McGee Memorial Dog Walk on October 23. Dunkirk Police Officer Brian Dietzen and K9 Gunny led the walk through the LHS neighborhood. Then participants and their pets enjoyed a costume contest and games, as well as a basket raffle, before the drive-thru chicken bbq fundraiser. And the Fredonia State Women's Basketball Team was a big help throughout the event.
