Thanks to everyone who came to the meeting, and a special thanks to Mike Freiberg and Mayor Shep Harris for making the time to visit. I had a great evening! Will keep you all posted about the next one :)

Golden Valley action items are in the first section. Be sure to speak up about Golden Valley's future by filling out the comprehensive planning survey (first link). Also this week, the TAX MARCH is Saturday and it looks like there's an amazing line-up of speakers and entertainment. Cheers!
CITY PLANNING SURVEY: Please fill out this survey, the city wants feedback about comprehensive planning. I'm going to ask to make sustainability a priority. Got ideas? Share them.

OPEN HOUSES Shep mentioned upcoming open houses about comprehensive planning for the city, and asked us all to get involved! I think it's a great idea. There's an open house on April 12th about housing (including affordable housing). Get details about this open house and future dates by clicking the "community engagement link" on this page.

PERPICH SCHOOL Let's let the Governor know we want the arts high school to stay open, and that it needs proper funding. I went to an arts high school, I know how important it is to have options like this for kids. Please drop Governor Dayton a line

The legislature is on break April 9th - 17th, so we get a breather from bills and phone calls. We'll be back with the update from Watch Your Reps after the 17th.
There's a special election in Kansas that's the first congressional special election since 45 became 45. Read more here; they're looking for get-out-the vote phone callers, and you can sign up here. James Thompson is an awesome civil rights attorney, more info on his Facebook page. Spread the word!
