Library Updates

Holiday Closings

The library will be closed Friday, Nov 11 for Veteran's Day, and we will reopen Saturday, Nov 12 at 10am. We are also closed Wednesday, Nov 23 and Thursday, Nov 24 for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will reopen on Friday, Nov 25 at 10am.

Youth Programs

Youth Piggy Bank Painting

Kids in grades 2+ are invited to come paint a piggy bank! Participants can choose between painting a unicorn or a turtle. Note: This might be a great gift for a sibling!

Santa Needs a Helper!

Our annual Christmas Tree lighting is back, and will be held on Monday, Dec 5 at 6pm. We are having a drawing to select one lucky child to help Santa by lighting the West Greenwich Christmas Tree. Children who are between ages 4 and 10 and are West Greenwich residents are eligible for the drawing. The drawing closes on Thursday, Dec 1 at 10am and the winner will be notified that day.

Holiday Ornaments

Kids in grades 4+ are invited to create a paint swirl ornament on Thursday, December 8 at 6 pm.

Kids in grades 1-3 are invited to paint a ceramic gingerbread person ornament on Saturday, December 10 at 11 am.

Dine in the Pines: Family Favorites

Join us on Monday, November 14 at 6 pm and enjoy a pot luck meal. This month's theme is family favorites, so share a favorite recipe or grab one of our cookbooks for inspiration!

Coffee with the Cops
On Tuesday, November, 29 at 6pm the West Greenwich Police Department is hosting Coffee with the Cops: A Community Conversation. Chief Ramsey and other officers from the police department will be available to discuss questions and concerns.
