Staff Picks

Annette's Pick

The Thursday Murder Club, by Richard Osman

"I am not generally a mystery reader. However, Richard Osman's Thursday Murder Club is funny and clever without too much gore or disturbing imagery. The Thursday Murder Club is a group of delightful Senior characters in an English Assisted Living situation who dust off their skills and experience to solve crimes."
Michelle's Pick

Code name Hélène, by Ariele Lawhon

"I really liked Code Name
Hélène by Ariel Lawhon.  It is historical fiction based on a true story.  The author did a great job bringing the heroine to life and making a very readable story out of the facts.  It was fascinating to read a true story about a strong, daring woman.  It is about time that we hear about more women who changed history!"
