Spring Break - No School
Dear Soaring Heights Families,

Thank you for your continued support. As we get closer to spring break, please take time to talk with your child(ren) about goals for the end of the year and to celebrate successes so far. We are very proud of our students for their strong efforts and growth. We are also looking forward to our middle school students returning to school four days a week after spring break. Soaring Heights will be a site location for Middle School Summer Project Launch click here for more details. We will be offering Elementary Library Time on Friday's beginning April 2nd. Elementary students will need to be signed up using the google form to attend. Please visit the link below for sign up details.

With a lot of snow in the forecast for this weekend, there is potential for an online learning day on Monday, March 15th. You can expect to hear a decision by noon on Sunday, March 14th. If we are online, students will receive synchronous direct instruction with additional asynchronous time to complete assignments. To maximize time efficiency for our students and staff, inclement weather online learning days will use a different schedule than our typical synchronous online learning days. An exact schedule will be provided to you by your student's teacher--see sample schedule below.

Report Cards are posted in Infinite Campus. To view your students report card please read the instructions below.

As a reminder, please screen your student for sick symptoms prior to school every morning. Following the Safe with 7 Guidelines posted below will assist with keeping our students and school community healthy. Thank you for your continued support as we move through the later part of the school year. Please contact the school if you have questions. Have a wonderful and safe weekend.

Best wishes,
Cyrus Weinberger, Principal

Important Drive Line Reminders

We appreciate your help and support as we work to smooth out our pick-up and drop-off procedures.  We have had some near accidents on County Road 5 and as result have created some new procedures in consultation with local law enforcement and our SVVSD safety manager.  Please use the procedures below along with the attached map to review the safest route for entering the school.

  • Cars may enter the Soaring Heights campus through the designated turn lane only (do not use the main northbound through lane to turn into the school)

  • Access outside of the turn lane will be coned off

  • Kindergarten and preschool parents may merge into the second lane in the roundabout to access the kindergarten/preschool parking lot after entering campus

  • Be extra careful when making a left at the intersection of Colliers Pkwy and County Road 5 as this is a major crossing for our students

Thank you for following these procedures.  Please remember to place a sign with student name and teacher on your windshield.  Parents may also use the high school bus loop to park after 8:00 am and after 3:00 pm.

Please take a moment to review this visual to help understand how the Drive Line works when dropping off and picking up students at Soaring Heights.
