GATOS, CA- Netflix apparently decided that a good way to promote a new feature was to highlight the phrase, “Praise Satan.”
The streaming giant created an Instagram video post depicting glittery phrases from various Netflix shows. The video was a promotion for their new movie, “The Prom,” a “LGBTQ movie” in which:
“A group of down-on-their luck Broadway stars shake up a small Indiana town as they rally behind a teen who just wants to attend prom with her girlfriend.”
Sparkling, flashing phrases in the Netflix Instagram post included “Cobra Kai Never Dies,” from the Netflix series “Cobra Kai,” and “’Tis I,” from the Netflix movie “Enola Holmes.”
What raised eyebrows was a lengthy display of the phrase, “Praise Satan,” which reportedly is often repeated in the show, “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” Netflix’s dark take on “Sabrina the Teenage Witch.”
