Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Uganda!

The team of twelve is currently at Mercy for Life ministry in the capital city of Kampala. We have had some great ministry times with the many children who live here as well as doing food distribution in local communities. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a terrible impact on Uganda, so being able to share food and the hope that Jesus can bring is such a blessing to all of us.

This group of two families that included six lovely girls has been just amazing. They are always so willing to jump in and pray for others and serve anyway they can! We spent one week in Jinja where we led Bible studies, did children’s ministry to 100 kids and served a meal at a Woman of Hope conference. It was a very rewarding time and the girls had great fun playing card games with the children who live at Divine Holistic Ministries.

Every time we get an opportunity the girls sing scripture songs that they learned in Foundation School. The team has also performed dramas based on the Bible stories. These two forms of our ministry have proven to be very useful and very impactful. We thank God that He provided these tools.

Our next stop is Arua and Paidha after the New Year.

Praise Reports

1. After being lost for the first five days after arrival, we finally received all 20 bags!
2. Salvations and healings are happening when the team prays for individuals.
3. The girls are getting along well and show amazing flexibility and patience in the midst of rough circumstances.

Prayer Points

1. Health of the team. We have stayed pretty well for the most part, but need renewed strength.
2. Humidity and rain has been draining. Please pray for perseverance.
3. Safety in travel both locally and as we go north to Arua/Paidha area!
