DON'T LET JARED KUSHNER DISTRACT YOU!
The AHCA is not OK!  During this congressional recess week, we need to contact Tiberi and especially Senator Portman to let them know that the AHCA is unacceptable. Calls, emails, faxes and office visits are all important. Don't let up. Use some of these images to spread the word on social media.
UPDATE ON FAIR DISTRICTS FOR OHIO PETITION PLANS
The Attorney General approved the redistricting reform initiative language, so we will begin collecting signatures to place the initiative on the ballot as soon as the petitions are ready. If you are coordinating signature gathering for your subgroup, you should be in touch with Fair Districts to arrange to pick up petition booklets.

All hands on deck for this important effort to end gerrymandering!
If you are with a subgroup, contact your group leader for more information on signing up to gather signatures. Those who are not in a subgroup can work with OH12 leaders Sara Sampson and Mia Lewis to organize when and where you will collect signatures: reply to this email to let us know you are interested.

It's Easy! Get Trained and Get Scheduled
If you have not yet trained to collect signatures...
Once you are trained, sign up for signature-gathering shifts at a local library and/or summer festival via your subgroup or by contacting Sara and Mia at indivisibleOH12@gmail.com.  You can also sign up to collect signatures at the Pride Festival and Parade, visit http://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080e44a9ad22a0fa7-pride.
We have until July 5 to collect 400,000+ signatures (Gulp)
If volunteers throughout the state can gather enough signatures (305,591 valid signatures will require as many as 600,000 signatures) before July 5, Fair Districts will place the initiative on the November, 2017 ballot. If not, signature collection will continue throughout the summer and the initiative will be placed on the November 2018 general election ballot.

Website and Donations
Fair Districts Ohio has completed the construction of their campaign website. It includes lots of information about the campaign, most importantly a summary and the full text of the initiative. Check it out.

Fair Districts anticipates the opposition to this reform will spend upwards of $10 million to defeat it. In other words, we're going to need money as well as signatures in order to win this battle. That's where your out-of-state friends and relatives come in! Please spread the word so that they can contribute to this important campaign at the following link: crowdpac.com/c/fairdistrictsforohio.
Indivisible OH12 at Columbus Pride Festival & Parade and ComFest
We need volunteers to work an Indivisible booth at the Pride Festival and  Comfest. We'll have games people can play and we'd like you to be ready to talk about what indivisible does and why you're involved. The idea is to reach out to people who are likely to support our mission and get them involved in our movement.

We're still working on the details of our Pride booth, but the dates are June 16-18.  Email Ziems.3@osu.edu to volunteer and Sarah will be in touch to arrange a particular time and day(s).

Right now the open shifts at ComFest are:
Friday 6/23:  3-6 and 6-9
Saturday 6/24:  5-8, 8-9:30 (closing)
Sunday 6/25: 11-2, 2-5, 5-8, 8-9:30 (closing & tear down)

Email us at indivisibleOH12@gmail.com to volunteer at ComFest
