Dr Tomas Rawlings of Auroch Digital will be talking about the Steampocalypse - We've seen Steam change a lot over the last few years as Greenlight was replaced with Steam Direct resulting in a glut of titles on the platform. We're also seeing new entrants into the PC store space - with Epic being most recent. Tomas gives his assesment of the PC store space and advice on what you can do to avoid becoming a casualty of the 'Steampocalypse'...
We're at 77 Stokes Croft on the 3rd Floor. The entrance is off Thomas Street, just up from the junction of Thomas St/Stokes Croft, opposite the Canteen.

Our new game, Rebel Inc., storms iOS charts
We've had a busy few weeks here at Office Zero, having just launched our new game, Rebel Inc, on iOS. It had a fantastic launch period, hitting the App Store's number one spot globally over the holiday period. If you want to check it out for yourself you can find it here.
Rebel Inc. Android version coming soon!
We've had plenty of requests for the game to come to Android and we're currently polishing this version of the game to launch very soon indeed. Watch this space!
Plague Inc. still top of the charts
Six years since its initial release Plague Inc. has had another amazing holiday period, consistently staying in the top ten of the charts globally. We've loads more to come for Plague Inc. players too in 2019! The programme will take on 20 top companies (working in ilm, television, video game, animation and immersive media industries) from across the English regions and prepare their company for growth through a series of one-to-one sessions, investor introductions, pitching platforms and combined peer-to-peer group workshops, intended to challenge and prepare companies for the further investment and growth.
Curveball Games
Curveball Games have released their first game, Island Invasion, on Steam! Island Invasion is a randomly-generated tower defence game, with low-poly graphics and leader boards to challenge against. The art and music was expertly done by hub favourites Tom Waterhouse and Matthew Walker. The rest of the production was down to myself, Chris Waldron.
The plan is to have some new free content in the new year, and mobile is being eyed up as a potential platform soon!
It's playable on Steam now.
