Wrapped In Angels - Utilising a Resilience and Trauma Model
3 day workshop

Presented by: Mary Jo McVeigh

Wrapped in Angels training is ideal for professionals looking for techniques to increase their client’s resilience. The training is offered as a two part process comprising three day training and supervision accreditation. It is possible to do the training without the accreditation process however, if participants intend to work with clients using Wrapped in Angels then the accreditation process is compulsory.

The training was developed in an experiential based practice paradigm. Therefore every participant will make a blanket throughout the three days as the theoretical and practice issues are explored.

Sound Scouts - A funded resource for checking a child's hearing

Sound Scouts is a clinically proven app that enables children’s hearing to be checked at school, in the home, in clinics or any quiet space.

From early 2019, the Australian Government will fund access to this app / screening for all school aged children.

Recognising that good hearing is vital to learning and not all children transitioning to or attending school will have access to hearing tests, we would encourage you to explore and take up the use of this app with families you support.
