Sound Scouts - A funded resource for checking a child's hearing
Sound Scouts is a clinically proven app that enables children’s hearing to be checked at school, in the home, in clinics or any quiet space.
From early 2019, the Australian Government will fund access to this app / screening for all school aged children.
Recognising that good hearing is vital to learning and not all children transitioning to or attending school will have access to hearing tests, we would encourage you to explore and take up the use of this app with families you support.
