Food and Drink News

Chef Carrie's Two-Toned Chili debuted at the Cafe's staff and volunteer party and was so popular, it's now on the menu. A white chili (without tomatoes) made with black cannelloni beans and white bans - thus the two tones. Chicken and vegan versions available. Sour cream and/or shredded cheese may be added. Served mild, but can be ordered hotter, to taste. Cup $5.49 or Bowl $6.49.

Quesadilla, always popular on our Kids Menu, is now on the regular and bar menus and sales have tripled! $5.99. Make it a meal by adding chicken for $2 extra.

New Desserts available any time are Gingerbread, from an old family recipe, and Baklava. The Baklava is made with maple with pumpkin seeds - New World flavors in an Old World dish. Unlike traditional Baklava, it's vegan and lower fat, yet still crunchy and sweet. One order is two pieces. Whipped cream can be added to either dessert.

Loose blends of tea are now available.

A winter collection of beers is now on tap, with a new lager - Boulevard American Kolsh - and a dark Stout replacing Porter.
