RES Cultural Night - March 22

We had a blast traveling the world at RES Cultural Night! Many, many thanks to the families who created showcases, for sharing their cultures with us. These families spent a lot of time creating presentations featuring fun facts including biographies of famous people, landmarks in their countries, currency, and the spoken languages. They wore clothing appropriate to their culture. We heard traditional music. And, they made us so many delicious foods that dinner was an afterthought! It was truly a gift to be able to visit with each family and experience the pride they all have in where they and their families come from. If you get a chance, next time you are up at school check out our 'Where in the World' map on the bulletin board and see where our RES families hail from and mark where YOU come from. It's fun for the kids to see.
