Bread for the World
Offering of Letters
On Sunday, November 13th, we will hold our annual Bread for the World Offering of Letters and join hundreds of thousands of other Christians around the country in doing our part in realizing God’s vision of a world where all people “will hunger no more.”
Bread for the World Regional Director Cheri Andes will join us during adult education at 9:15 am (in-person and on Zoom) to give us an update on Bread for World and discuss the victories and challenges that face our collective actions.
This year we will be writing just one letter. It will be going to Senator Gillibrand asking her to co-sponsor the Global Food Security Act (S.4649). Letters will be available in the Assembly Hall for you to sign and add your personal message if you would like. This is the link to the letter for those who would like to do their letter from home.

Finger Labyrinth Walks and Meditations occur each Thursday
through November (except 11/24) at 12:30pm via Zoom. Pastor Miriam, Certified Advanced Labyrinth Facilitator, leads each session, and our time together is 30 minutes. This time is open to all, whether you’ve walked a labyrinth in the past or not. Register here to receive the zoom link. If you have a prayer concern or a prayer need that you would like to have lifted in prayer on a continuing basis, please remember the prayer chain. You can email a request to firstpresprayer@yahoo.com or call the church office (518-449-7332). These will be forwarded to the First Pres prayer chain, a group of people that have committed to pray for the needs of others as they arise. These requests for prayer are separate and/or different from the “prayers of the people” that are wonderfully available each Sunday.

Sabbatical Share
So, what did Glenn and Miriam do while they were on their sabbatical?

grand adventure at 7pm.

the U.S. as proof of a time that brought renewal to your Co-Pastors.
