A Year of Perseverance

As our staff team made plans for 2020, we had no idea we would be going from this...

To this....

However, despite the obvious hurdles associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, God has been FAITHFUL. We have celebrated a riverside baptism, seen new professions of faith in Christ, continued meeting virtually every week, hosted Bible studies and prayer groups, guided forums on racial justice and reconciliation, helped at-risk members secure housing and jobs, launched a weekly 'Gospel Insights' sermon review on Facebook Live (Mondays @ ~12:45), and worshipped outdoors "By the Branch" on the block in Rocksprings (next outdoor service this Sunday, December 6th @ 4:00 PM)!

This Giving Tuesday, would you prayerfully consider helping Lord of Glory Fellowship continue its gospel ministry in Athens into 2021 and beyond? We have a number of endeavors planned for 2021, such as offering intensive discipleship classes (which we've already begun - see notecard image below!), finding our own worship space, expanding ministry presence in our neighborhoods, and more closely coordinating mercy ministry around assisting those among us who need a leg-up in securing jobs and managing their own resources.

If you are moved to give, please click the button below or visit our website at Also, please consider making a RECURRING MONTHLY DONATION, as this will best help us plan for the future.

Our current goal is to raise $138,000 to fill out our 2021 budget.
We are praying for...
100 people to give $10 per month (or $120 one-time gift)
50 people to give $50 per month (or $600 one-time gift)
25 people to give $100 per month (or $1,200 one-time gift)
11 people to give $500 per month (or $6,000 one-time gift)

All gifts of any size are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. By giving you join us in this mission; we cannot carry on without you.

Please pray for us, as we also pray for you.

God bless you all!

- Parker, Solomon, and Myles
"Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say, “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.” For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God."
(2 Corinthians 9:6-11, New Living Translation)
