Dear KidZone Parents,
I know the last few months have been somewhat unexpected however I hope you and your family are staying healthy and having a wonderful summer.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have worked closely with the Co-Lead Pastor continuing to evaluate our KidZone ministry here at Northeast. It has been a wonderful way to minister to our Northeast families as well as families in our community. As a Parents Day Out Ministry, we strive to find ways to teach our children at a very young age how to love Jesus in everything they do.
We always want to make safety a primary goal of this ministry. Due to the limitations on the numbers of people that can be grouped together, the importance of keeping your children healthy, and not being able to know what the next few months look like, we have made the difficult decision to pause KidZone for the remainder of 2020. Once an immunization is available we will communicate the next steps on when this ministry will resume.
We are making this decision now for several reasons:
Transparency – We want to keep you informed quickly as we make decisions.
Safety –Group gatherings will likely look different and could change over the next few months.
Planning - We want to inform you now, so you can look at other options for your children this fall.
Once again, we thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to figure out what is best for this ministry during these uncertain times. Northeast loves your children and we love this ministry. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon.
