UNDP RBAP Strategic Foresight Week 2022: Reimagining Ways to Decide, Design and Deliver

Over the course of 3 days and 5 action-packed virtual sessions, join the RBAP Foresight Network to explore a Strategic Foresight package that COs can employ in 2022 for anticipatory planning. Designed for all UNDP RBAP staff, regardless of previous experience with foresight management, the sessions taking place between 19 and 21 January 2022, are also open to regions outside Asia and the Pacific. Guide for Integrated Planning in Africa: Facilitating Recovery Pathways Crafted by National Governments

PUBLICATION

The Guide aims to help countries recover and build resilience through integrated development planning, leveraging on the SDGs, Africa’s Agenda 2063 and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). UNDP partnered with the African Development Bank (AfDB), the UN Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and the African Union Development Agency-NEPAD (AUDA–NEPAD) to create a tool to nform policy and investment choices being made in national and regional systems in the pursuit of solid pathways towards resilient and inclusive growth at sub-national, national, and regional levels. New UNDP Publications on Climate Finance for Sustaining Peace and for Enhancing Gender and Poverty Integration

PUBLICATIONS

Read up on this study on Making Climate Finance Work for Conflict-Affected and Fragile Contexts, which reflects on the metadata analysis projects implemented in 146 countries, including 56 fragile states shows that conflict and fragility may affect access to and implementation of climate finance and its implementation may interact with drivers of fragility and insecurity. Check out also the Framework for Enhancing Gender and Poverty Integration in Climate Finance, which responds to a central topic for the green economic recovery agenda regarding the mobilization of resources, supporting fiscal policies that helps in climate actions that scale up social protection, strengthen gender equality, reduce poverty, and address inequalities.
