Quarterly Meeting: November 14th at 7 pm

Our next quarterly meeting is tomorrow, November 14th, at 7 pm at the Laurelton Fire Department. Topics will include:

  • Carols and Cocoa: Planning for our December 13th holiday gathering.
  • Welcome Wagon: A new concept where a "welcome package" would be given to new neighbors. Discussions and planning will take place.
  • Adopt-a-Hydrant: Suggested by Marty Petrella, this is a concept he launched in Corn Hill with great success where residents "adopted" fire hydrants that they took care of during wintery weather.
  • 2018 Garage Sale: May 2018 seems like it's a while away, but it'll be here before we know it. We'll of course need help as it gets closer.
  • Community Events: Have any community events that you'd like to share? Let us know during the meeting.
  • Elections: Secretary (Diana Chase), Treasurer (Tricia Skwieralski), VP (Allison Pryor) and President (Brett Daly) are up this year. We have also begun listing short bios of our board members on our website.

The trolley presentation will not occur tomorrow, but instead at our February quarterly meeting. We'll look forward to that as the slides look extremely interesting.

Carols and Cocoa

The event will take place on December 13th -- it moved up a week due to a scheduling conflict -- at Laurelton United Presbyterian Church. There is also a new form available where you can sign up to share your musical talent, bring food, request carolers to come to your home and more. Click here to check it out.

The event will begin at 6 pm with dinner at LUPC, caroling in the neighborhood from 6:30-7:30 and music back at LUPC from 7:30-8:30. Thanks to Diana Chase for leading the organization of the event and LUPC for hosting.

Other Tidbits
