It's been another busy month here at Dwinell

Construction inside the building has begun! We've cut concrete, installed the trench drain and under-slab plumbing, and passed our first inspection. Now we're ready to frame the cold storage and bar.

Along with all of the excitement of our build out, we've been taking time to brew pilot batches of beer at home to test our recipes. We've made a tart, citrus summer wheat ale, an experimental Kiawe smoked ale brewed in collaboration with our friend Seth at Mecca Grade Estate Malt, and, most recently, a juicy dry hopped Belgian pale ale. We hope you're getting thirsty!

Next month we'll be at the Goldendale Home, Garden and Sportsman's Show (April 28-30). Guests are invited to stop by our booth to get to know us, learn more about our brewery, and purchase t-shirts.

Everything has officially thawed out here in Goldendale after a long, snowy winter. There are a lot of exciting local events in the coming months, and we're looking forward to the warm weather and the continued progress on the build-out of our brewery.

If you haven't already, follow us on Facebook and Instagram to receive updates throughout the month.

To kick off the build out, we had over 100 feet of concrete cut, jackhammered, and excavated in preparation for our plumbing.
We are happy to announce that we've joined Breweries in the Gorge. We're excited to work with our neighboring breweries and are thrilled that we've gotten Goldendale on the beer map (literally).
No brewery is complete without their very own trench drain - ours is 30 feet long and runs along the brewery's garage doors.
In late February we attended a Gorge Grown Network event in Hood River, OR to meet with local farmers and producers. We're looking forward to sourcing local fruits, herbs, and spices for our beers.
Please feel free to share this newsletter with anyone else who might be interested, and stay tuned for more updates on our future plans. Cheers!
