On Sunday 7 May 2023 from 6a.m to 8p.m. The Deep Water Bay Clubhouse will be hosting the 21st Deepwater Bay Dragon Boat Regatta. Members are strongly advice using the facilities at the Emerald Bay Clubhouse for all activities and please avoid visiting the Deep Water Bay Clubhouse due to traffic in the vicinity of the affected areas might be congested. For safety issues, the pontoon will be closed. Swimming, paddling and boat docking will not be available on that day.
On 16 April 2023, Harry Chan (The Ghost Net Hunter) sharing his ghost nets and marine debris issues with VRC members at Deep Water Bay Clubhouse. Thank you to the VRC staff for organizing this great event.
These boats found abandoned at Emerald Bay and Deep Water Bay Clubhouses will be disposed or auctioned off if not claimed by the end of 30 April 2023. Please also note that boat spaces cannot be sub-leased or used to store boats of non-members. Failure to follow this rule may result in your space being forfeited and reissued to those on the waiting list.
