BE PREPARED FOR WINTER DRIVING.

Check your car:

Tire condition
Windshield wipers
Low temperature wiper fluid
Battery life
Scraper and brush
Headlights, taillights and blinkers
Emergency/breakdown kit
Windshield, windows and
mirrors clear
Get a tune up

Check your driving when there is snow and ice:

Drive at a speed safe for the conditions
Increase following distance
Turn into a skid
Accelerate, decelerate and turn carefully
Approach traffic stops slowly
Do not use cruise control
Bridge decks and ramps often ice up before other surfaces
Plan your route

There have already been some pile-ups on the roads this year,
so be safe out there!
