We know you're focusing on finals and finishing out this unusual semester. We want to make moving out as simple as possible. We’ve provided move out procedures and options below for all students living in university-owned halls or apartments.
Please read through these carefully to ensure you have a smooth move out experience and can practice safe social distancing in the process.

If you need to return to Pullman to retrieve your items, you must sign up for your move-out time. To increase social distancing, we have extended the available move out dates. Two-hour move out time slots will be available daily, May 5- May 31 from 8 a.m.- 8 p.m. Detailed move out instructions will be provided when you sign up for a move out time. If you have items in other buildings on campus, please contact your professor or the department to make arrangements to access the buildings
If you are unable to return to Pullman to retrieve your items, storage options are available. If you need to store or ship your items, commercial options are provided at the bottom of this email.
If you are currently living in your residence hall, contact your Residential Education Director (RED) to arrange your move out time and get additional details about the move out process. We know individual circumstances will impact your move out date. We need to know your plans to ensure social distancing. While you are living on campus, your RDA will remain available to use at select dining locations.

If you are currently in Pullman, you are welcome to continue residing in your apartment through the end of your contract.
If you are not in Pullman, you need to terminate your contract and return your keys to the main housing office (in-person or securely via mail). Rent will continue to be charged until keys are returned. Contract termination fees will not apply.
If you need to return to Pullman to retrieve items from your apartment, contact your Apartment Coordinator to arrange a time. Please provide at least three days notice when scheduling to ensure social distancing standards. If you are unable to return to Pullman to retrieve your items, commercial storage and shipping options are listed at the bottom of this email.

We understand extraordinary circumstances can make these decisions difficult and the options provided may not work for everyone. If you need help, please call JoAnne Bryan at (509) 335-3420.

WSU is operating a summer residence halls through August 7. You will need to apply for a summer residence hall contract and WSU Housing will contact you about transitioning to your summer space.
